This chuhin Rocky Mountain Juniper, collected by Randy Knight, is similar in quality to the chuhin Sierra Juniper in the sale. The tree was initially styled at Mirai and then left to evolve in a talented student's hands. Last year the tree found its way back to Mirai so we could put the finishing touches on it. Over the past five years it has evolved into one of the best chuhin RMJ's that has ever passed through our garden.
The foliage is tight, small, fine, and compact. It's among the very best foliage quality we've seen on Rocky Mountain Juniper. With another year of density and maturity, this composition will be capable of being shown.
Great Deadwood, incredible movement, a natural cascade. This is one of the Ryan's favorite trees to look at on a daily basis. It was repotted two years ago and freshly wired this year. This tree is set up for success for many years to come.
