What an incredibly wild-looking specimen of a native five-needle pine! This limber pine (Pinus flexilis), collected by the Backcountry Boys, is a true, authentic representation of semi-cascading form. Its branches originate from the outer curvature of the trunk. The phenomenal base, with a slight insinuation of exposed-root form, ultimately gestures to the left and gives it a very wild accent on top of an already creative trunk.
This tree was styled last fall and has grown with health after being potted into its current container this spring. It will only continue to gain strength, backbudding, density, and needle reduction from this point moving forward. A very splendid and unique five-needle pine to add to any collection.
