This unique European Larch was field grown by Randy Knight and further grown by Tom Roberts before coming to Mirai. The tree captures a unique multiple apex style found in snow-influenced alpine environments. The beautifully tapering trunk and symmetrical flow are anchored by a powerful base planted in an exquisite Tom Benda container. The container has a hairline crack on the rear wall of the pot.
The primary structure is set. Secondary scaffolding branches are defined. Next spring, this piece will be fully in refinement and setup to ramify and improve. It will need to be repotted next spring and a larger vessel might be in order depending on your taste.
This is a rare chance to acquire such a developed Larch for an advanced bonsai collection.
