This smaller Chinese elm shares the hallmark qualities of Patty Myrick's other trees in the Mirai collection. Although young in its development, the tree already possesses a substantial base, wonderful trunk movement, near-scarless form, and a primary structure that will only improve as secondary and tertiary ramification continues to develop. This is a wonderful shohin elm to invest time and attention in.
As it evolves, this tree would be a strong candidate for a rack display or a standalone shohin specimen capable of being exhibited in three to five years.
