Originally styled by Suthin, this Scots Pine is a testament to the species’ unmatched character—resilient, compact, and richly textured. Over time, it has evolved from a traditional silhouette into a more rugged, expressive form, reflecting a maturation shaped by thoughtful refinement and an intimate understanding of Pine physiology.
The bark is aged and articulate, the branching balanced and tight. With no wire currently on the tree, its silhouette stands entirely on its own—an achievement few trees at this level can claim. There is still room to elevate its refinement, but even in its current state, it echoes the dignity of the great Suisha White Pines of Japan.
Its nebari is powerful. Its presence undeniable. Paired with a Tom Benda ceramic, the composition reaches a harmony of mass and elegance.
This is a world-class Scots Pine—rich in potential, ready for its next steward.
