This Limber Pine, collected by the Backcountry Boys from the Rocky Mountains in Wyoming, is a remarkable specimen with a storied past. At 185 years old and with four years of training, it was originally styled by Ryan Neil during a live stream while still in its wooden box. Now presented in a Me & Raimondi container, this tree exudes elegance and feminine grace.
The Limber Pine features an exceptional base that tells a tale of struggle, with beautifully aged deadwood shaped by the intense UV rays of its native Rockies. Its design showcases a gracefully tapering, narrow silhouette with an informal, upright form. A quirky central branch and a defining asymmetrical branch add character to its canopy, making this tree a stunning example of feminine design.
The lobed lotus form of the Me & Raimondi container perfectly complements the tree, enhancing its visual appeal. Although it is a favorite tree at Mirai, we are excited to offer it as an opportunity for someone to further its development. The tree, still showing signs of its initial styling and adapting to containerized culture since its potting in spring 2024, is expected to experience significant health improvements, backbudding, and ramification in the coming years.
