This untextured container by renowned Austrian ceramicist Horst Heinzlreiter offers both function and beauty. What Horst’s smooth containers sacrifice in texture they more than make up for with his complex glazes that provide an incredible depth of colors and a vast surface of moving and shifting tones. Horst’s craftsmanship is even more evident by the patina on the surface of his glazed containers. Each container is rubbed down with special cloth until the surface shine is dulled to a perfect glow.
****As a part of the design process there are small hairline cracks on the outside and inside of the ceramic. This does not affect the structural integrity of the piece.****
