Cork Bark Ponderosa Pine

This cork bark ponderosa pine that Randy Knight collected from the Rocky Mountains is incredibly rare with its unique genetic mutation. Bearing literati form in the branch that drops down with multiple pads and continued proliferation of secondary branching, this piece is showable and note-worthy for its unique character and the qualities of its shape and form. In addition, its cork barking adds to its distinct personality that causes it to be a sought-after tree, making it a superb addition to any collection as a top-notch depiction of a unique ponderosa pine.

The Covered Wagon will be leaving Oregon on Wednesday, September 28th and making predetermined stops where clients can meet us to pick-up their tree purchases. The tentative stopping points for the Covered Wagon include Boise, ID - Cheyenne, WY - Omaha, NE - Des Moines, IA - Chicago, IL, Cleveland, OH - Harrisburg, PA - New Jersey and New York. Final Covered Wagon destination spots will be released once tree sales are finalized but in general do not deviate far from the above route.

A separate Covered Wagon trip to California will be in November with stops in the Bay Area and LA metro area likely planned.

If your tree is available for common carrier shipment or if you would like to pick up your tree at Mirai, we will refund/bill you the difference on shipping costs once it is arranged.

If you are a student wanting to keep your tree on-site for future classes, or a client needing tree care until alternative tree delivery options are arranged, we offer boarding here at Mirai at the rate of $35 per month.

Please email after purchase to confirm your shipping needs.
